“We believe that sustainability goes hand in hand with innovation,” Noonan said. “We believe that one of the best ways to save energy, money, and reduce your carbon footprint is actually making savings when you're not using the screen. LED displays can use up to 15 percent of their peak power, even when the screen appears off (blank). The Eclipse is designed to save 100 percent of energy usage when that screen is off. In this instance, 'off' means off.”

He continued, “The other product in our portfolio is the Edge Series. Designed to replace outdated LCD displays, it's available in 43-, 55-, and 65-inch cabinets, which can fit existing LCD VESA brackets, or directly onto the wall. This innovative approach means raw material usage is reduced by as much as 60 percent and componentry by up to 60 percent, as well as reducing shipping weights and dims compared to traditional LED cabinets by as much as 45 percent. This helps save money, maximizing ROI and reducing carbon emissions. Another huge benefit is that the Edge Series reduces the number of installed cabinets by as much as 85 percent compared to standard-sized LED products. This simplifies installation, making it easier to get a uniform display due to fewer physical parts, and fewer seams between cabinets.

In addition to being an environmentally friendly option, the Edge Series passes along the ROI benefits of sustainable product design directly to the end user, allowing them to modify their display over time.

“You can customize for your different applications—SMD (Surface Mount Diode) if you are looking for a more budget-conscious screen, COB (Chip-on-Board) if you want those energy savings and popping visuals, but also flip-chip high bright if you want to put that screen in a shop window or an area that's much brighter,” Noonan said. “But the nicest thing is that three or four years down the line if you want to change that technology, you can take the old modules off and upgrade. We're giving people future-proof capabilities, which is really important as technology evolves.”
