ISE Insiders 2026: Christie to Showcase 'Where Passion Meets Possibility'
Chris Shu discusses what to expect in Barcelona next month.
We are a week away from ISE 2026, which will open its doors Feb. 3-6 at Fira de Barcelona, welcoming the Pro AV universe to see the newest technologies and trends. SCN wanted to get you ready for the show, so we conducted a series of short Q&As, to talk trends and pre-show buzz, plus give you an exclusive sneak preview of what you'll see on the show floor.
Today, Chris Shu, senior director of marketing, Christie, talks interactive projection mapping and video-wall experiences.
SCN: What technology or industry trend will be providing the most buzz on the ISE 2026 show floor?
Chris Shu: I think we’ll see more companies build on a trend that has begun to emerge over the past couple of years, which is a shift towards market and application-inspired exhibits and displays. Instead of focusing purely on specs, exhibitors will be showing how AV integrates into real-world applications, using practical experiential examples to help them envision how it fits their environment.
SCN: What is your company’s main focus at the show this year?
CS: At the Christie stand, 3K500, our theme will be “Where passion meets possibility.” We’ll showcase how our technologies open new possibilities to enable exceptional experiences. From interactive projection mapping enabled by new projection technology to a technology preview of an upcoming LED video wall solution, showcased in a hands-on demo, visitors will have the opportunity to experience our range of industry-leading technologies at the show.

SCN: What makes ISE a unique trade show for the Pro AV industry?
CS: For Christie, it’s the opportunity to connect and interact with the AV community, our partners, and demonstrate our latest technologies at a scale that’s not possible at any other ProAV show. We’ve been an exhibitor with ISE since the first show in Geneva in 2004, and look forward to another successful iteration this year.
SCN: How is the demand for immersive experiences impacting the projector industry?
CS: We’re seeing greater interest in our projection technology for these types of experiences. It’s more cost-effective, highly scalable, and offers greater versatility for covering large surfaces than direct-view displays. Large-scale experiences rely on our high-brightness projectors, like our flagship Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser projector, which outputs 50,000 lumens of brightness and produces an exceptionally wide color gamut, achieving ~98% of the Rec. 2020 color space. Our range of 1DLP laser projectors is used in many small-to-medium-sized experiences. Attendees to ISE 2026 will have an opportunity to see our newest projection series on display in an interactive exhibit.
Whether it’s a projection mapping spectacle, an immersive art exhibition, or a themed attraction, many experiences rely on our projection technology to create a dynamic, visually captivating journey for their guests.
