Already a familiar name in the AV-over-IP space, WyreStorm’s latest product offering—a solution based around its SW-640 presentation switcher—is poised to become a staple of workplace unified communications.
“We are not just creating a presentation switcher; we are building the whole solution,” Voislav said. “The SW-640L-TX-W has been great; it has been well received by our customers, but now we are bringing in two new cameras and a new camera bridge, so now you can connect to the presentation switcher (SW-640L-TX-W) and connect up to four cameras wirelessly or with a USB-C connection. Meeting rooms with a multi-camera system are really popular these days.”
But between its AI-enabled website and the free, AVIXA-certified WyreStorm Academy, one area of WyreStorm’s business model that will never change is the support it provides its customers.
“On our new support hub website, you can get all the information about how to install our devices, as well as the latest updates, firmware updates—and there is a built-in AI bot if you can’t find what you need,” Voislav said. “Your customer will be much more comfortable installing and programming your devices if you provide a good education.”
Combine that world-class support with products that are easy to use, powerful, and reliable, and it’s no wonder WyreStorm has been a leader in AV distribution for more than 15 years.
“Simple is the key word for our devices,” Voislav said. “We are going in that direction to provide easy configuration. For example, an AV-over-IP system is really complex, but how we did it—you basically answer the questions through our configuration tool, and you'll be ready to go.”
