Indianapolis, IN – July 24, 2018 – Indy Audio Labs’ brand, Acurus, known for world-renowned premium audio performance, will be powering Cinema Architects’ booth at the Decorex SA show in Johannesburg. Taking place at the Gallagher Convention Centre, a vibrant selection of inspired trends will be showcased at Africa’s premier décor, design and lifestyle exhibition, Decorex Joburg 2018. Themed “Rhythm of Life,” visitors will have access to a variety of globally influenced designs and trends which have been localized to suit the African home.

Visitors to Cinema Architects’ sound room in hall 5 will experience an incredible 13.1 natively-decoded Dolby Atmos system, powered by both the Acurus 16-channel ACT 4 immersive HD audio pre-amp processor and the Acurus Scorpion, a multi-zone amplifier with integrated pre-amp. Cinema Architects will also have information on Aragon, Indy Audio Labs’ other premium audio brand.

In August 2018, a new 20-channel capability (15.1 natively-decoded Dolby Atmos+4 extra sub channels) will be standard in all ACT 4s shipping from Indy Audio Labs’ factory in Indianapolis. A 20-channel hardware/firmware upgrade kit will be available for purchase to existing 16-channel ACT 4 owners and is field upgradeable. The Acurus Scorpion multi-zone matrixed amplifier is available for sale now.
