SCN: What is your company’s story at InfoComm this year?

Catherine Koutsaris: We’re approaching it this year with a strong focus on interoperability. Rather than showing products as standalone components, we will demonstrate how our technologies work together as part of an ecosystem and alongside third-party solutions. Live demonstrations around control rooms, live events, and corporate collaboration spaces will highlight how streams move seamlessly between interoperable systems to create more connected and scalable AV environments.

We’re launching our new Maevex MGX Series of encoders and decoders. Built on both IPMX and our new Matrox IQ Mode’s high-compression technology, the MGX Series delivers exceptionally low-latency 4K60 4:4:4 video quality while using a fraction of the bandwidth of other ProAV codecs. This allows organizations to scale AV workflows more efficiently over existing 1 GbE networks without compromising image quality or overhauling infrastructure. The H.265-based platform also includes support for remote keyboard, mouse, and webcam control.

SCN: What do you expect the buzz to be on the InfoComm 2026 show floor?

CK: Beyond the technology itself, I think attendees will be looking closely at what truly differentiates solutions in a crowded AV market. Customers are asking more questions about how technologies work together within real-world environments, rather than evaluating products in isolation. So, the conversation is shifting toward usability and interoperability. There will also be continued interest in AI, automation, and technologies that help teams boost productivity.
