Walking Through a Winter Wonderland... in 8K Wraparound Screens and Emoji Showers
Outernet turns The Now Building into an Ice Palace for the holidays.
Walking in a winter wonderland... of immersive storytelling and digital creativity. That is exactly what you get to do at The Ice Palace, a free, seven-minute digital masterpiece through the spirit of Christmastime in London. It is running now through Dec. 31.
Put on by Outernet, visitors to The Now Building at Tottenham Court Road Station, are transported into a magical journey where 8K wraparound screens deliver what is described as a "shimmering frozen kingdom." There is the Nutcracker ballroom, a life-sized gingerbread house, and yes, even the big guy's workshop itself. Guest are also immersed in an emoji shower adding to the wonder.
