NSCA To Shift Locations For Expo 2008

CEDAR, RAPIDS, IA--With Expo 2007 set to kickoff this year at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, NSCA executive director Chuck Wilson announced that Expo '08 will be held in Dallas, TX, forgoing its normal biennial Orlando-Las Vegas rotation.

According to Wilson, the need for the move was dictated by the Las Vegas Convention Center's decision to reduce meeting room space in the available hall. By moving to the Lone Star State, Expo will take advantage of expanded space offered at the Dallas Convention Center to introduce several new events within a single building technology conference co-located within its own aisles and meeting spaces.

On a parting note, Wilson urged everyone to stay tuned. For all those bemoaning the move away from Las Vegas, fear not: Beginning with Expo 2009, the show will return to Sin City and its normal pattern of cross-country migration between Florida and Nevada.
