Alpha Video and Digital Display Group Integrate Digital Signage Solutions into new Mystique Casino

  • Alpha Video & Audio, Inc. and its digital signage division, Digital Display Group (DDG), is excited to announce the completion of its audiovisual and digital signage installations into Mystique, Iowa’s largest greyhound park and casino. The integration features a complete audiovisual installation throughout the casino, as well as a full enterprise integration of DDG’s own digital signage solution, CastNET.
  • Mystique, whose facility just recently re-opened after a massive renovation, wanted to attract new customers and offer a best in class gaming experience to its customers. Alpha Video worked with the entertainment facility to reach this objective by integrating audio throughout the entire casino and designing a complete audiovisual system for its two theaters. The audio provided includes a solution that works both inside and outside the casino with different zones controlled by a Crestron control system. The theaters were equipped with two different screen systems (one front projection and one rear projection), as well as full lighting and staging with a mixing board for professional sound.
  • The digital signage component of the installation was provided by Alpha Video’s Digital Display Group, and run by its own proprietary CastNET signage solution. DDG installed a complete dynamic signage solution utilizing LCD’s in every area of the casino, along with an outdoor marquee billboard and a nine-screen video wall in the entrance of the casino. CastNET, which operates and manages mission critical media, was also incorporated to drive all of the displays around the greyhound racetrack, which will give Mystique the ability to update messaging in real time through a Web browser.

  • Mystique, the only casino Nationwide that is non-profit and provides revenue sharing to charity, is located in Dubuque, Iowa. It boasts nearly 1,000 slot machines, table games and live poker, as well as being the only facility to offer live greyhound racing and year-round simulcast action. The casino, formerly known as the Dubuque Greyhound Park and Casino, just finished a $10 million renovation and was renamed Mystique to incorporate a French theme, with all new restaurants, gaming and entertainment venues.
