NorgesGruppen and Scala Extend Exclusive Agreement

  • OSLO, NORWAY--NorgesGruppen and Scala have renewed their exclusive agreement for the delivery of Scala’s digital signage software platform to the NorgesGruppen retail chain for another year. NorgesGruppen chose to continue the collaboration with Scala as its preferred digital signage supplier based on Scala’s successful solutions created for Shell Fresh, Mix, Eurospar and Kiwi over the past three years.
  • Shell Fresh and Mix use Scala for their digital menu boards in more than 150 gas stations and kiosks all over Norway, which allows real-time, dynamic communication with customers.

Eurospar also uses Scala to improve communication with customers by combining brand advertising with in-store customer information on digital displays. The network allows Eurospar and its brand advertisers to increase revenue by delivering the right message to the right audience at the right time.

Kiwi uses Scala for internal communication with employees using touchscreens placed close to the employee entrance and lunchroom. Each touchscreen is divided into different fields: general information, advertising, education of new employees and temporary information.
“For Scala Nordic, this agreement confirms our leadership position in the Scandinavian marketplace,” says Truls Baklid, VP, Scala Nordic. “As a supplier, Scala is excited to work with such a major retailer in the region.”
