MONTREAL--Matrox Graphics and X2O Media announced a collaboration to demonstrate X2O Media's Xpresenter digital signage platform with the Matrox M9140 graphics card for digital signage applications at InfoComm 09 from June 17-19 in Orlando, Fla.
Xpresenter offers extremely powerful creation tools for a variety of applications. With the platform, users can work directly inside Microsoft PowerPoint to develop high-end digital signage productions and manage all aspects of content playout from a single easy-to-use, Web-based interface. The platform provides simple management of content and monitoring of network status across multiple locations, while keeping the screen constantly refreshed without having to schedule new content. Xpresenter allows users to link to live data feeds and uses a broadcast rendering engine for the highest quality output.
At InfoComm 09, Xpresenter will be driving customized content on a unique triple-portrait configuration powered by the Matrox M9140 low-profile graphics card. This application is ideal for businesses looking to actively engage in-store clientele with a larger, more inspiring multi-monitor digital signage platform. Xpresenter will also be driving a four-screen display that includes the Matrox M9140 in the X2O booth, further showcasing the possibilities of multi-screen productions that combine Matrox and X2O technologies.
"We are pleased to be working with Matrox on this digital signage solution and feel that our combined technologies truly demonstrate the amazing possibilities of multi-screen productions," said David Wilkins, X2O Media President and CEO. "By utilizing our Xpresenter platform with the Matrox M9140, users can easily author and control content to be presented in the highest video quality for a number of applications."
"Matrox and X2O offer a number of diverse and eye-catching visual display opportunities for the digital signage market," says Ron Berty, Business Development Manager, Matrox Graphics, Inc. "With Xpresenter's remarkable ability to render the highest quality graphics and video, the M9140 permits this content to be displayed on three or four displays, in portrait or landscape, and as one large on-screen desktop."
Matrox Graphics and X2O Media will be showcasing these digital signage technologies at InfoComm 09 at Booths 2250 and 2161, respectively.
