SAN DIEGO, CA--In order to quickly bring AV, IT, Advertising, Out-Of-Home marketing, and content creation professionals up to speed to prosper in the booming digital signage market, Brawn Consulting has announced the launch of the industry’s only comprehensive training and certification program exclusively for digital signage. The new program is being launched by the Digital Signage Experts Group (DSEG), formed and led by industry veteran Alan Brawn, with the cooperation of the official DSEG publishing partner, NewBay Media.
The Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) program is a one-day digital signage certification course. Taught by the industry’s top experts, the program will allow any technical, marketing, or sales professionals to master the formula for successful design, deployment, and ROI for digital signage rollouts.
The course will delve deeply into the scale and scope of the digital signage industry, and drill down to examine the disparate parts and complexities of digital signage solutions. Basic digital signage design will be covered as well as a close look at each of the component parts: displays and mounts, networks, digital signage software, signal alternatives, as well as infrastructure and integration. The experts will explore content and content creation to prove the axiom that “content is king”. From a financial perspective, there will be analysis of several possible business models– including the four alternative (and proven) approaches to ensuring return on investment.
The Digital Signage Experts Group (DSEG) is advised by a council of recognized industry experts and consultants. The DSCE Certification Program will be launched at the Digital Signage Expo, to be held February 24-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas Nevada, but will be available in select locations nationwide throughout 2009, as well as through dedicated webinars.
