  • Black Diamond Video's SXPS processor combines seamless single-link and dual-link DVI switching, scaling and windowing in a compact 2U device. The SXPS Processor has an asymmetrically configurable I/O with possible combinations including 16x4, 16x8, 12x4, 12x8, 12x12, 8x12, 4x12, 8x16, and 4x16. The SXPS supports mixed single-link and dual-link DVI applications. Options include quad-output dual/single-link scaler cards, quad-windowing cards for multiple windows and a 12x12 USB matrix-switching card.

Panasonic PT-DZ12000U and PT-D12000U


Panasonic Projector Systems Company has unveiled its new 12,000 lumen WUXGA three-chip DLP projectors. The PT-DZ12000U and PT-D12000U models are designed for large venue and rental and staging solutions such as commercial digital cinema, higher education, corporate, and digital advertising customers. Both the PT-DZ12000U and PT-D12000U include new, built-in edge blending and a geometric adjustment feature that enables both projectors to deliver dynamic warping capability and presentation solutions.

InFocus IN5100


The InFocus IN5100 series of installation projectors provides integrators and installers with a powerful 4000 to 5000 lumens in wide or standard XGA resolution. At 5000 lumens, the IN5100 series only uses a single lamp, making it both simple and economical. Horizontal and vertical lens shift, four optional lenses and many connectivity options make the 5100 series adaptable to a broad range of installations.

Lightronics AR-1202RTC Wireless


Lightronics AR1202RTC Architectural Dimmer is now wireless. The Wireless DMX features include 16 Universes of 512 DMX Channels, Real-Time FHSS TDMA Communication, and 83 Channel Hopping 2.45GHz Band. The Wireless DMX also has incredible range; 1400 feet inside and 4000 feet outside. The outside range can even go through structures. The AR-1202RTC features a programmable calendar/clock that enables the user to attach scenes to date and time commands. One common application would include the retail environment; this would automate particular events in the retail space giving the customer more control over the display environment.

Digital Projection Lightning 1080p Ultra Contrast


Digital Projection announced the LIGHTNING 1080p Ultra Contrast, a new product in its LIGHTNING Professional Series II platform. Sharing the same footprint, lenses and control protocol as the LIGHTNING 30 and 40-1080p displays, the Ultra Contrast has received major enhancements to its optical system in order to maximize contrast performance and black level. Specifically, the LIGHTNING 1080p Ultra Contrast delivers 10,000 lumens and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio. For customers with visualization, simulation, medical, scientific, or exploration applications, the LIGHTNING 1080p Ultra Contrast delivers exemplary dark area detail and saturated, vivid colors.

Toshiba TDP-XP1U Mobile Projector


Toshiba's TDP-XP1U filter-free DLP mobile projector is perfect for users who demand incredible imaging and high-end features at an affordable price. Packaged in a compact form factor, the TDP-XP1U is intelligently designed with an impressive 2,200 ANSI lumens for a bright display in any setting. With a 1024 x 768 XGA native resolution and a sharp 2000:1 contrast ratio, the TDP-XP1U outputs a superior and brilliant image for professional presentations.

Christie M Series


The Christie M Series is a family of three-chip DLP projectors built on a dual-lamp, mercury platform with extreme feature-rich functionality. Providing a total of six new models, the projectors range from 5,000 ANSI lumens to 9,500 ANSI lumens and include two resolutions, SX+ and HD. At the highest brightness level, the projector draws a maximum power of 1320W. At only 55 pounds, they are light and affordable to operate and maintain with dual lamps, energy-saving feature settings, and a filter-free, dust-sealed engine design.

L-Acoustics LA-RAK


L-Acoustics' LA-RAK touring rack is the central element of the manufacturer's new system architecture built upon the LA8 amplified controller. It offers a drive rack solution for all L-Acoustics systems covering signal and power distribution in a comprehensive plug and play touring package. LA-RAK was created as a universal platform designed to facilitate cross-rental between DOSC Network members and to ensure compatibility with the legacy analog cabling standard of L-Acoustics systems. LA-RAK's design is entirely modular allowing the user to physically assemble and interconnect multiple modules to fit numerous applications.

Meyer Sound UPQ-1P Loudspeaker


Meyer Sound's UPQ-1P is a new high-powered addition to its UltraSeries products. The UPQ-1P incorporates a 15-inch neodymium magnet low frequency driver, a four-inch diaphragm compression driver coupled to an 80-degree by 50-degree constant directivity horn, and 1,275 watts of peak amplifier power. With its integral pole mount receptacle and flexible rigging options, the UPQ-1P easily adapts to permanent theater and nightclub installations as well as portable AV systems.

Crown XLS Amplifier Series


Crown Audio has extended its XLS Series amplifiers. Comprising the XLS 202, XLS 402, XLS 602, XLS 802, and the new XLS 5000, the XLS Series is ideal for musicians, DJs, rental companies, and corporate and hotel AV departments. The XLS Series has now been extended with the addition of the new XLS 5000. Delivering 1,800 watts per channel in 4-ohm stereo mode, and a staggering 5,000 watts in 4-ohm bridge-mono mode, the XLS 5000 packs more than twice the punch of the next highest-powered model in the range, the XLS 802.

Hitachi CP-A100 LCD Projector


Hitachi's CP-A100 LCD projector features a very short throw distance, eliminating the problem of presenters obstructing the projected image by standing in front of the screen. Additionally, the CP-A100 offers networking capabilities, allowing multiple projectors to be controlled and monitored from a single location. The CP-A100 boasts a throw distance of 60 inches at 1.4 feet. This not only prevents image obstruction, but also means there are no shadows interfering with the image and eliminates light in the presenter's face.
