SpinetiX Releases its Digital Signage Platform v2.0

LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--SpinetiX SA announces today the release of the SpinetiX digital signage platform v2.0 which offers more benefits and new features to SpinetiX customers worldwide.

The SpinetiX Hyper Media Player, known as the HMP100, is an ultra compact appliance that replaces the PC as a standalone play-back device for digital signage content. Due to its diminutive size and low power consumption, it can be installed directly behind a display screen and offers unmatched reliability. The HMP100 is offered with SpinetiX’ Hyper Media Director (HMD) software which allows simple content creation, management and scheduling.

With today’s new platform version v2.0, SpinetiX stays ahead with a complete and cost effective all-in-one digital signage offering. For example, the new platform version includes built in support for any kind of synchronized video wall configurations. Generating video wall presentations in any shape or any aspect ratio and without expensive or specialized hardware can be done at present very easily. Further benefits to mention are the enhanced kiosk application possibilities. Interactivity via mouse or touch screen devices are built-in natively. Especially useful for interactive kiosks is as well the newly added ‘event management system’ which allows screens to exchange information between each other. This way, interaction with one kiosk can now trigger content changes on other screens and systems.

Thanks to this new platform, the SpinetiX solution simplifies the way of mixing streaming video, encoded video or images and audio file formats combined with other dynamic information such as RSS or XML. Cost reduction and interoperability with open standards for any digital signage system remain the key focus of SpinetiX.SpinetiX...www.spinetix.com
