Verocity Wireless, a mobile and data services provider, recently installed in-store digital signage displays with the help of Ovation Interactive to earn customer trust and drive loyalty, according to the company.
A 42-inch LG Hi-Def Flatron display was installed in the entryway of the main retail store, with content featured on the unit focusing on brand/image messages, community information, employee spotlights and customer testimonials.
Two 10-inch displays were placed near the two top tiers of demonstration phones. These units play content designed to augment service agents during high-traffic periods and assist the deliberating shopper. Focusing on product and feature messaging, these display units aid in purchasing decisions, according to the company. New content will be continually added to maintain pace with new phone releases and sales trends, said the company.
Verocity is eager to evolve and improve the programming to build the brand and sales support value, according to the company. Customer survey cards are available to help gain insights. The in-store media channel has been dubbed “The Verocity Connection” and includes an icon that’s a visual extension of the company logo.
“People have choices. There’s a lot of competition, and in our industry there can be a lot of churn,” said Dennis Charipar, general manager, Verocity, Cedar Rapids, iowa. “We work hard to earn our customer’s trust. We want them to know we care about their satisfaction. We go the extra mile to help them become comfortable with phone features.”
