Samsung Electronics has announced its newly enhanced P3 channel partner program, which resulted after an intense review of the former program and included valuable feedback from Samsung's channel partners.

According to Samsung, "The new P3 program is a multi-tiered program that was designed to make Samsung's partners more profitable by providing tools and resources to turn prospects into sales."

The program includes four levels: Essential, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each level earns the partner additional benefits, incentives and support. Platinum status is highest level a partner can achieve and brings with it benefits such as priority roadmap access, participation in Samsung's Reseller Council, premium pricing discounts, and a VIR program that enables partners to receive rebates on displays after achieving a predetermined revenue target.

"Samsung's partners are an integral part of our success and I have personally made it a top priority to listen closely and focus on their needs." said Christopher Franey, vice president, sales and marketing, Samsung Electronics America, Inc. "Samsung is dedicated to providing business to business solutions and benefits to increase profitability and success for our channel partners. Our new P3 program is a natural extension to Samsung's dedicated service and outstanding products."

Additionally, Samsung has improved its marketing and training programs as well as increased the size of its channel marketing team-which has tripled in size-and is committed to growing the number of reseller sales managers along with its aggressive demand generation team. Samsung's channel partners will benefit from these teams working even more collectively and cohesively.

"The P3 program involves so much more than the basic incentives," said Richard Hutton, senior channel marketing manager, Samsung Electronics America, Inc. "The benefits include everything from marketing funds, volume incentives and loyalty rewards to a customized portal and product education and training."
