  • Extron Electronics' DVI 201 A D and HDMI 201 A D, Decora-style transmitter and receiver sets enable DVI or HDMI signals to be carried over greater distances than can be accomplished using standard DVI and HDMI cables. In addition, they can accept and transmit stereo audio and RS-232 signals. Linked together using two economical and integration friendly Cat-5 type cables, the transmitter and receiver work together to send single link DVI-D or HDMI signals over 200 feet (60 meters) for HDTV and XGA (1024 x 768). The DVI 201 A D and HDMI 201 A D send DVI and HDMI signals up to 1920x1080 and HDTV 1080p. They are both HDCP compliant, supporting the long distance transmission of signals with HDCP copy protection.


Audio Design Associates has produced the SRX Sirius commercial tuner. The RX is the first professional Sirius tuner designed specifically for the commercial installer. In addition to performing as a stand-alone tuner, it includes dayparting, a custom PC control application and remote administration modes for the ultimate in unattended operation. It also features an intuitive single knob display interface, full Sirius channel data display, channel blocking, front panel lockout, and a Sirius-Ready RS232 mode for other control applications.

Gilderfluke Amp-50


The Amp-50 puts the equivalent output power of a rack-mounted 200 to 250 Watt linear amplifier into the palm of your hand. 90 percent efficiency means it barely gets warm, and uses almost no electricity. It is for conference rooms, paging, video projectors, and all battery powered applications. Low 0.1 percent THD+N. The Amp-50 can be used as a stereo amplifier, or bridged for mono output.

American Audio PXW-18P Subwoofer


American Audio's PXW-18P is an 18-inch cast frame woofer with a four-inch voice coil and an 800 watt built-in amp with crossover. It also features balanced left and right input and balanced full-range output.

Pragmatic Control 9


Pragmatic Communication Systems' newest product, Control 9, an Octal Serial Port Hub for industrial and residential control applications, provides eight downstream asynchronous serial ports from one upstream USB host port, or one upstream serial Port. Control 9 is a generic communication and control device that allows a PC host to connect to many serial devices using either its USB port or one of its serial COM ports. Control 9 has two upstream ports of which one is connected to the host PC. It also contains eight downstream ports that are jumper configurable for RS-232, RS-485, or 5V TTL operation.

JBL is expanding its Studio L Series lineup with the introduction of its LS360C in-ceiling home theater loudspeaker, designed to deliver reference-quality sound in a wide variety of home entertainment, custom-installation and multiroom audio applications. The LS360C utilizes a radiator plus flat-panel woofer, dual three-inch midrange drivers, and a one-inch pure-titanium tweeter mounted in an elliptical oblate spheroidal (EOS) waveguide, to provide clear and detailed sound with a smooth, natural tonal balance over a wide listening area. All the drivers are mounted on baffles that are angled to provide dispersion and an expansive sound field from a space-saving, in-ceiling configuration.

Focusrite ISA 828 Preamp


Focusrite's ISA 828 eight channel microphone pre-amplifier features the same vintage microphone pre-amplifier design as the original ISA 110 module from Focusrite's Forte console, including the original Lundahl L1538 transformer and bespoke zobel network. The pre-amps are complemented by eight line inputs, four instrument inputs, and an optional eight channel 192kHz ADC. Kramer TP-210 Distribution Amplifier


Kramer Electronics' TP-210 high performance distribution amplifier will accept computer graphics video signals with resolutions ranging from VGA through UXGA and higher. It takes one input and provides 10 identical RJ-45 twisted pair outputs, as well as two computer graphics video outputs on 15-pin HD connectors for local monitoring. The TP-210 includes H and V Sync polarity switches for changing the polarity of the signal for improved HDTV signal compatibility. The TP-210 includes the Kramer Power Connect system that allows the device to power any receivers that are connected to the unit through the same Cat-5 cable that carries the signal.

Atlas Sound PA702 Pole-Mount Amp

Intelix AVO-V3PT-F Balun


Intelix's AVO-V3PT-F is a balun for transmitting high-definition component video and control signals up to 500 feet over standard unshielded twisted pair cabling, such as Cat-5 or Cat-6. The AVO-V3PT-F features three gold-plated RCA connectors for distributing component video (YPbPr) and one spring tension connector for routing control signals including IR, DC control, logic control. The AVO-V3PT-F does not require power. To use, simply connect an AVO-V3PT-F to the source device or devices, connect a second AVO-V3PT-F to the destination device or devices, and link the two baluns with standard unshielded twisted pair cabling.

Zaxcom IFB100 Audio Transmitter


Zaxcom's IFB100 transmitter transmits a single RF carrier, containing time code, IFB audio, and remote control signals, to any number of TRX900 wireless systems. The unit provides users with the patent-pending ability to record a group of channels and then play them back as a virtual multitrack recording. Tightrope Media Systems Cablecast SX Video Servers


Tightrope Media Systems has released the Cablecast SX 2, Cablecast SX 4 and Cablecast SX LE video servers. The Cablecast SX series video servers are all multi-format capable, playing back MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DV25, DVCAM, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, Windows Media, QuickTime, and H.264. The Cablecast SX 2 and Cablecast SX 4 video servers both encode and decode MPEG2 in both 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 profile at up to 50Mbps as well as encoding DV25. Both servers also features both composite and SDI outputs as well as embedded audio on the SDI output and balanced XLR connectors for the analog output.

Panamax/Furman released four new MAX power management products. The M4300-PM, M5100-PM, M5300-PM, and M5400-PM offer advanced linear filtration for noise reduction and patent-pending circuitry to protect components from damaging power irregularities. TV One's new 1T-PCDVI-PCDVI video scaler is a high bandwidth, professional PC/component/DVI to digital DVI scaler that accepts PC generated RGB signals, HD Component signals, and DVI signals and scales them to a DVI or PC output of 1080p/WUXGA. The inputs of the 1T-PCDVI-PCDVI are DVI plus Analog PC or HDTV in the formats of RGBHV, YPbPr, YCbCr and the outputs consist of digital DVI plus PC/HD. Outputs are 480i through 1080p or VGA to WUXGA. Dual, high quality scaling engines are utilized with 8-bit triple-ADC phase locked loops. An integrated DVI/HDCP compliant receiver is central to the processor along with 3-D motion adaptive de-interlacers. The 3:2 pull-down, 2:2 pull-down detection/recovery and 3-D noise reduction complete the superior video signal processing capability.

Analog Way's Easy Fade and Easy Cut, two new high resolution video scalers and audio video switchers, were developed to offer high quality image processing. They both combine the functions of a high-resolution video scaler with an audio video switcher. Three computer inputs are provided for direct display of presentations or internet applications. They allow audio stereo switching. beyerdynamic IMS 900


beyerdynamic has recently added the IMS 900 in-ear-system to its line of products for professional touring, broadcast, and permanent installation. In multichannel applications where time is a critical element, the IMS 900's 16 pre-programmed UHF frequencies offer an easy setup and quick sound check. The IMS system is made up of two components, the SE 900 stereo transmitter and the TE 900 stereo pocket receiver. The SE 900 transmitter can accommodate up to eight channels per frequency range without interference. Look Solutions Tiny Fogger 2007


Look Solutions debuted the Tiny-Fogger 2007. Made in Germany and known as the TINY F07, it is the modified successor of the battery-operated, programmable Tiny-Fogger. Its palm-sized dimensions enable it to be easily incorporated into costumes, props and scenery for use in special effects applications, theater, mega-musicals and movies. The design of the TINY F07 and some of its components differ from the Tiny-Fogger. The new product features a higher-quality pump and more rugged vaporizer. The PCB is now sealed in an enclosure so fog can't back up into the machine potentially causing a malfunction.

Bretford's Basics Brand (BB) Series wide-body TV carts will now incorporate the Cord Minder, Bretford's clever cable management accessory. Elation EWDMX System


Elation has brought DMX control into the wireless realm with the introduction of the EWDMX system. Consisting of a transmitter and one or more receivers, the wireless DMX control system eliminates the need for DMX cables at a range of up to 3,000 feet.
