Insight Media University will present a workshop titled “Glasses-free 3D Digital Signage – The Complete Guide to a Successful Experience” at the Digital Signage Expo on March 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Chris Chinnock, Founder of IMU and President of Insight Media, will lead the workshop, which is organized into four 90-minute modules:
• Glasses-Free Digital Signage: Ready for Prime Time?
• Glasses-Free Digital Signage Displays
• Glasses-Free 3D Content Creation
• Glasses-Free Digital Signage System Integration
The first video provides an introduction to the all-day workshop, and describes the day’s first module, “Glasses-Free Digital Signage: Ready for Prime Time?” The course is geared toward answering a number of relevant questions that digital signage players have about the glasses-free 3D signage opportunity.
The second video provides a product review of a new 3D augmented reality book from Popar Toys. The book uses markers and a web cam to generate rendered (not stereoscopic) 3D animations and audios when the reader views the book on a PC monitor.
