Avermedia Announces New Monthly Teacher Forum Contest

MILPITAS, CA--AVerMedia Technologies established the AVerVision Teacher Forum Contest. This contest will be held within the confines of AVerMedia's new forum that was developed for teachers to discuss and discover teaching methods, ideas and technologies for their classrooms. Users are encouraged to actively post comments and teaching experiences. Each month, one post will be randomly selected by a custom software program, awarding the author a new AVerVision document camera.

This contest will begin with a summer drawing and is open to the public. Relevant posts between June 15 and August 28, 2008 will be eligible. Subsequent drawings will be held on the last day of every month, using posts from that month only. Contestants are encouraged to become involved in multiple topics and post often to improve their chances of winning and encourage resource and information sharing between teachers.

Currently, AVerMedia's teacher forum boasts over a thousand members and continues to grow each day. This is an excellent outlet for those who have feedback, questions, information or what to share their teaching experiences with a document camera and other classroom technology. Topics range from product uses and ideas to encouraging stories, news, events and teacher resources.

"This latest program allows AVerMedia to continue its teacher resource and product program on a consistent basis," says Grant Woods, marketing communications manager with AVerMedia Technologies. "Not only will it put more AVerVision Document Cameras in the classroom, but will increase the resources available in the forum itself"
