Windermere House, Historic Muskoka Resort, Joins ScreenScape's Digital Signage Network

  • Historic Windermere House, long a favorite focal point of Muskoka vacationers and cottagers, is deploying the ScreenScape Venue Networking solution. Windermere House will use the screen displays to help promote all of their products, services, amenities and events to the many people that visit the resort annually. They will also use ScreenScape community features to reach their targeted audience in other venues throughout Ontario. Windermere House received a magnificent makeover in 2008 for its 139th season under new owner Paul Jeffery. The resort has taken on a bold new life with the dramatic renovations and was named Muskoka Resort of the Year in 2008.
  • ScreenScape is an Internet service and community that offers a smarter, simpler and more cost-effective way to use dynamic screens in your venue
  • "We are very proud of our wonderful Windermere House upgrades, which we've designed to enhance every aspect of our guests' experience." says Paul. "Our dedication to outstanding hospitality is our hallmark. The deployment of ScreenScape at Windermere House provides us with an opportunity to use online screen displays to keep our guests and visitors entertained and informed about everything we have to offer during their visit to our resort. The ScreenScape solution allows us to dynamically control the information we display on our high definition screens throughout the resort and to keep our content crisp and current."

Jeffery, best known for his success as an entrepreneur in the restaurant and hospitality business, is the Founder and Past Chairman of Kelsey's International Inc.. Kelsey's International is the parent company of Kelsey's Restaurants, Montana's Cookhouse and the Eastern Canada franchise holder for Outback Restaurants. Jeffery built the business to 240 establishments and eventually sold the enterprise to Cara Foods in 2002. Jeffery's success is in large part due to his understanding and appreciation for the importance of customer service and attention to detail. This commitment and philosophy has been instrumental in driving and delivering on the new vision for Windermere House.

We are very proud of our wonderful Windermere House upgrades, which we've designed to enhance every aspect of our guests' experience. "Paying attention to the details can make a real difference to our business and more importantly, the customers we serve. We see ScreenScape-powered displays becoming an active and dynamic extension of our customer service, sales and marketing team. Beyond showcasing information about Windermere's on site programs and events, we are able to share information with our guests about other events and partners in the Muskoka community. With our soon to be announced fractional ownership program, I am very excited about leveraging ScreenScape to reach our targeted audience. At the click of a mouse we can get our marketing message about our fractional ownership program displayed on screens in other venues throughout Muskoka, the GTA or the world for that matter. "

Kevin Dwyer, president and CEO of ScreenScape noted "We are thrilled to have Windermere House as a ScreenScape customer. We are confident that ScreenScape will play a valuable role helping Windermere House succeed in their on-going mission to deliver world-class hospitality services. ScreenScape is quickly making waves in the recreational and resort community. The selection of ScreenScape by Windermere House and Paul Jeffrey in particular, given his experience and knowledge of the hospitality industry, is a strong testament and endorsement for ScreenScape's product and service."
