Extron Electronics has chosen InfoComm 09 as the platform to launch its first line of touchpanel
Darryl Serlin, CTS, Extron Electronics national sales manager with TouchLink control systems. Extron has long been involved in control systems with popular lines of software, applications and pushbutton controllers, so the evolution to touchpanels is a natural progression.
TouchLink is the first fully configuration- based touchpanel control system with the power to handle the control needs of single-display rooms, dual-display rooms, divisible rooms, multi-image systems and videoconference suites. The new TouchLink products include three touchpanel models, an ethernet control processor and Extron GUI Configurator Software. TouchLink Control Systems integrate seamlessly with the Extron GlobalViewer Enterprise software and Free GlobalViewer web application for complete AV resource monitoring, management and control over a computer network.
Three TouchLink touchpanels are being shown this week: the TLP 700MV, designed for mounting into a lectern or wall; the TLP 700TV, designed for tabletop use or VESA mounting; and the TLP 350CV, a Cable Cubby version that features a 3.5-inch touchscreen. Also being introduced is the IPL 250 ethernet control processor, designed specifically to provide the AV device connectivity for TouchLink panels.
