ISF Training May 29-30 at TI/DLP

ISF Commercial will be conducting a special Training and Certification Course May 29-30 at the facilities of Texas Instruments/DLP in Plano, TX (a suburb of Dallas). Registration is still open, but is filling up quickly.

ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) Commercial, under the direction Alan Brawn, has now become a valuable addition to the commercial AV industry. Its purpose is the establishment of standards and training to ensure that display devices are set up and calibrated for the best possible image quality throughout the life of an installation. Since being launched at InfoComm in 2007, the ISF Commercial program has seen rapid growth as commercial AV installers have seen the value and need to differentiate themselves in the market and take their display expertise to the next level.

The ISF Commercial Course, directed and taught by display industry veteran Brawn, is dedicated to the attainment of perfect images on screen, the understanding and adoption of standards, and the testing and certification that recognizes excellence in display calibration. The ISF Commercial Calibration and Certification Course offers the most advanced methodology and certification in the pursuit of that goal. In the intensive two-day seminar, each display technology is reviewed in terms of performance capabilities as well as limitations. A hands-on lab illustrates detailed calibration processes for front and rear projection as well as flat panel displays providing the procedural elements as well as the "art" that permits the calibrator to maximize the image on screen. An examination is provided at the end of the course for those wanting to become ISF Commercial Certified.

This special ISF Commercial Training and Certification Course May 29-30, to take place at the facilities of Texas Instruments/DLP will fill up fast. Enroll now at: www.isfcommercial.com/calendar.php
