VertigoXmedia Upgrades Xpresenter System

Publish date:

VertigoXmedia is launching a new version of its Xpresenter system. An affordable, stand-alone system that transforms Microsoft PowerPoint presentations into high-end, broadcast-quality-video productions, Xpresenter now includes a number of upgrades that enhance the look and feel of the user interface and make the system even easier to use.

Vertigo has developed an improved user interface for Version 1.5, with a sleek, integrated PowerPoint toolbar that includes features designed to optimize the authoring workflow. With Version 1.5, users can also manage data more easily. A new wizard allows users to link to RSS data feeds and use them to automatically update PowerPoint slide elements, such as the latest sports scores or flight arrival times. Increased flexibility for using data from databases, Excel spreadsheets, and text files is created with data preview capabilities and simple point-and-click linking to sources. An archiving wizard makes it easier than ever to share complete multimedia projects between users.

Typical applications for Xpresenter include corporate communications, info channels, transportation schedules, retail displays, and real estate listings.
