Lutron Electronics Co introduced 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) Objects for the company’s wired and wireless product families. The BIM Objects give designers, specifiers, and construction teams a powerful new tool for specifying light control to bring greater energy efficiency and sustainability to their projects.
By allowing users to see the coverage patterns of Lutron sensors and the placement of controls, the 3D BIM Objects deliver the ability to properly locate sensors and devices in a building, empowering design and construction professionals to achieve maximum lighting energy savings.

“At Lutron, we are proud to continue to create project design tools that make specification and installation easier,” said Ed Blair, vice president of commercial solutions.
