Hiltron, Stuttgart, Partly Acquired by Dan Technologies Denmark

  • Dan Technologies announces a major new investment with the purchase of a substantial stake in Hiltron GmbH. Founded in 1979, Hiltron began as a product distributor before expanding into systems design and manufacturing. Now located at Backnang, 30 km northeast of Stuttgart, Hiltron is one of Europe's leading transmission-system integrators and best known for its HCS3 universal satcom controller.
  • "We have partnered with Danmon Systems Group on several projects for Scandinavian clients," comments Hans Ullrich, managing director and majority shareholder of Hilton GmbH. "Dan Technologies has a large portfolio of international companies in northern Europe whose activities and requirements blend efficiently with our own. We are very gratified that the company has chosen to invest in our ongoing commercial development."
  • "Hiltron has a worldwide reputation for designing and manufacturing high-quality monitoring and control systems which are widely used in satellite earth stations and head-ends," adds Dan Technologies CEO Ole Clausen. "Its RF and microwave technologies overlap well with our own experience in the areas of video, audio and data. The Hiltron range of waveguides, controllers, power supplies and L-Band routers is augmented by third-party equipment from the leading specialist suppliers in their respective fields."
