The 6,500-seat arena, which opened its doors in March 2009, makes use of an extensive array of the company’s digital signage technology, including 17 rack-mounted Keywest Technology MediaZone servers and six smaller shelf-type MediaZone players. In addition, the entire system is under the control of Keywest Technology’s InfoZone enterprise-level digital signage control, management and monitoring software, the company said.
“The Hartman Arena project illustrates the depth of Keywest Technology’s digital signage expertise,” said Nick Nichols, president of the Lenexa, Kan.-based full-service digital signage provider. “Working with the facility’s architects before ground was even broken on the new facility, the Keywest Systems Group provided the consultation and design services need to ensure the installation exceeded the expectations of all parties involved.”
During its consultation with the architects, Keywest Systems Group provided insight and design solutions, ultimately leading to a turnkey package of design and installation services. The range of Systems Group tasks ranged from running more than 3.5 miles of coaxial and Category 5 cable throughout the entire facility to designing and installing custom monitor-mounting brackets and monitor enclosures.
