  • Extron Annotator

Extron Electronics’ Annotator is a high performance, hardware-based annotation processor for video and computer-video sources. The Annotator features a graphical user interface that allows the presenter to draw, point, or add text to electronic presentation materials using a touchscreen and/or a keyboard and mouse. An integrated, seven input multi-format presentation switcher supports all common analog and digital AV signal types. Three standard outputs are provided, including RGB, VGA, and Extron MTP (Mini Twisted Pair), with high performance scaling up to 1920x1200 and HDTV 1080p. For ease of integration, a configurable fourth output is provided for use with optional DVI, HD-SDI, or scan converter output boards.


Crestron DM Fiber Input Cards And Transmitter

Crestron DigitalMedia fiber input cards and transmitter are now shipping, adding new flexibility to the DM family of products. DM delivers an integrated solution for the digital age: reliable switching and distribution of all analog audio and video, high-res computer, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort, Ethernet and USB keyboard/mouse control. DM fiber solutions are fully HDCP-compliant, and enable full 1080p60 with Deep Color transmission up to 1000 ft/300m using Crestron CresFiber or third-party multimode fiber, ideal for multiroom and long distance cable runs. The DMC-F and DMC-F-DSP cards provide a fiber input to the modular DM-MD8X8 and DM-MD16X16 switchers and the single-card DMCI enclosure.


Digital Projection M-Vision Cine LED Projectors

Digital Projection International announced a limited supply of their brand-new MVision Cine LED projectors is now available. The new Cine LED delivers 3-chip color saturation with the imaging fidelity of Texas Instruments’ DLP technology. The single-chip M-Vision Cine LED adds the first Lifetime Illumination display to DPI’s single-chip product line. The M-Vision Cine LED produces up to 600 lumens and 10,000:1 contrast. A quiet, compact chassis, the M-Vision Cine LED presents a powerful large-screen imaging solution in an affordable but precise chassis.


Lectrosonics SMV Series Transmitters

Lectrosonics introduces the SMV Series transmitters. The latest addition to the company’s highly acclaimed super miniature product line, the new SMV and SMQV transmitters feature Lectrosonics’ digital hybrid wireless technology from their 400 Series product group. Variable RF power is a key attribute of the new SMV Series transmitters. The Lectrosonics SMV transmitter features selectable 50 mW and 100 mW settings while the SMQV offers selections for 50 mW, 100 mW, and 250 mW. Both transmitters are also splash and sweat-proof—thanks to the specially designed, machined-aluminum housings. The new SMV Series transmitters also incorporate a variable high-pass filter that enables custom-tailoring of the units’ audio response for speech

DiGiCo EX-007

DiGiCo’s EX-007 is designed to substantially increase the number of available faders and the number of channels controllable at any one time on an SD7—and from a distance of up to 100 meters via a Cat-5 cable connection. It is possible to augment an SD7 with two EX-007s, each acting as control panel to provide 24 faders and two additional touch screens, as well as metering and other standard functions, transforming the SD7 into a 100-fader mixing console.

Extron FOX 4G Matrix 7200

Extron Electronics introduces the FOX 4G Matrix 7200, a high performance, modular fiber optic matrix switcher for complete, end-to-end digital AV signal transmission and routing over fiber optic cable. It is expandable from 8x8 up to 72x72, and supports digital switching at rates up to 4.25 Gbps. With hot-swappable I/O boards, real-time system monitoring, and redundant, hot-swappable power supplies, the FOX 4G Matrix 7200 delivers highly reliable, enterprise-wide switching of fiber optic AV and control signals for any mission-critical environment. The FOX 4G Matrix 7200 is compatible with the FOX Series of fiber optic digital transmitters and receivers. It accepts and routes standard definition video, high-resolution computer-video, DVI, and multi-rate SDI.


Atlas Learn AL2430-2PH

Atlas Sound’s Learn AL2430-2PH in-classroom amplified learning system is designed for use in K-12 and higher education facilities or where a room constrained public address system is required. The AL2430-2PH is a complete audio enrichment system consisting of amplifier, wireless microphones, and docking station. The teacher and students are able to walk freely around the room with the infrared microphones/system control units and project their voices through installed speakers. The Atlas Learn classroom security and sound reinforcement system is also available packaged with Atlas Sound SD72W speaker systems as model AL2430-2PH-SD4.


RTI T1-B Universal Controller

Remote Technologies Incorporated’s T1-B universal controller is a sleek remote that offers customizable control. The T1-B allows installers to combine all other factory remote controls into one simple, ergonomic interface that provides powerful, one-handed system control. The T1-B features 40 assignable keypad buttons that can be individually programmed to control devices or execute multistep macros for reliable control of electronic systems of any size. For more control, the unit offers eight source and four general-purpose keypad buttons with interchangeable key labels.


Hitachi Software WT-1 Interactive Wireless Tablet

Hitachi Software’s StarBoard WT-1 Interactive Wireless Tablet provides educational facilities and corporate environments with the latest in presentation technology. The new tablet comes equipped with an interactive pen with two customizable buttons. The WT-1 features a range of up to 30 feet by deploying RF technology, and has a battery life of up to 16 hours of continuous use. The tablet includes 16 shortcut function keys, handwriting recognition, search engine integration, and a built-in LCD indicator screen, alerting users of available battery life.

Analog Way Opus Seamless Switcher

Analog Way’s Opus is the latest addition to its seamless switchers range. Opus is a multi layer mixer scaler seamless switcher with universal analog and digital input/output and full high resolution digital processing. This high-grade easy to use AV presentation mixer switcher is particularly adapted to high-end installations due to its versatility. It offers numerous live effects including keying and moving PIP as well as two different operation modes—multi layer mixer and 12 by 2 seamless sync matrix. In multi layer mixer mode, opus uses one output as a preview and the other, the main output, for the audience.

Harkness Rear Projection Screens

Harkness Screens’ rear projection screens are designed with PVC surfaces that can be used where a specific screen size or shape is required for both temporary and permanent installations. Harkness’ rear projection screens can be fabricated to accommodate any size or shape with invisible seams under projection and lighting conditions. In addition, multiple images can be blended. The rear projection event screens are quick to install and are available with different finishing options.


Powersoft Installation Series

Powersoft has introduced the first two models of its new Installation Series, the Duecanali5204 and Duecanali3904. These amplifiers are installation versions of the K-3 and newly introduced K-2, delivering an efficient and reliable energy- saving design in a compact one-rack unit space, while still maintaining high-output wattage and crystal clear audio. The Duecanali5204 offers 1400W of power with a speaker load of 8 ohms, 2600W at 4 ohms, and 2800W at 2 ohms in stereo configuration.


Sigma Southwest ADS Model 8X10

Sigma Southwest has developed the ADS Model 8X10 to provide a low-cost, eightchannel, multiple room audio distribution system. Various options are available which permit the customer to select the desired channel and volume level and listen via headphones or an in-room speaker. Recently Sigma Southwest has introduced a wall control unit that enables the customer to connect their iPod/MP3 player thru the amplified in-room speaker. All options of the customer control unit mount in a standard, singlegang electrical box.


SoundTube CM-EZBGM Speakers

SoundTube Entertainment’s CM-EZ-BGM loudspeakers offer integrators reduced amplification costs with maximum efficiency; a tuned port provides additional low-end response. CM-EZ-BGM speakers may be ordered in 4-, 6.5-, and 8-inch configurations; backcan depths of 3.75-inches and 5.75-inches give integrators flexibility in working with varying ceiling plenum spaces. A six-position tap switch allows for 25, 70.7, or 100 Volt applications with a 16 Ohm by-pass. The company says the new line was designed for fast, easy installation which reduces an integrator’s on-site time to provide additional cost savings


WorxAudio M80X2-P

The Worx Audio M80X2-P is a two-way line array loudspeaker. The M80X2-P incorporates two medium-format one-inch exit compression driver coupled to a stabilized proprietary Flat Wave Former that delivers clear but penetrating high frequencies over a predictable and controlled coverage area. The M80X2-P has a horizontal pattern of 160 degrees and a vertical of 35 degrees. Quad 8-inch cone transducers coupled to the Acoustic Intergrading Module minimize cone filtering throughout the entire operating range.
