SCN: What is your company’s story at InfoComm this year

Joel Mulpeter: Collaboration isn’t just something we enable; it’s a culture we create. Crestron is committed to empowering spaces where technology unburdens users with connections that feel natural and engaging. This year at InfoComm, we’re telling a cohesive story that brings together our recent product introductions across content, collaboration, and control. Individually, these innovations solve real workplace challenges. Together, they help build environments where collaboration feels intuitive, productivity increases, and teams truly thrive.

SCN: Why is InfoComm such an important show for you and your company?

JM: InfoComm is where real conversations and real experiences happen. Seeing technology live, asking questions, and engaging face to face matters in ways digital channels cannot replace. Even as technology accelerates hybrid interactions, being in the room still has unique value and InfoComm demonstrates that on a large scale.

SCN: What do you expect the buzz to be on the InfoComm 2026 show floor?

JM: We anticipate a focus on how systems connect and deliver real insight. AI generates a lot of attention, but translating its capabilities into a better understanding of the workspace and the workforce will be invaluable. Customers are looking for practical, scalable solutions that improve reliability and lead to meaningful outcomes, not just new features.

SCN: How are metrics being used to measure the “earn the commute” reality?

JM: Organizations can leverage workplace data to understand whether spaces are truly supporting collaboration. Beyond room bookings, they are looking at the experience and effectiveness of these spaces. When meeting rooms work consistently and deliver value to users, they are more inclined to take advantage of those resources.
