Samsung Forms Pro A/V Group

Irvine, CA--Samsung has created its new Pro A/V Group dedicated to marketing its solutions to the pro A/V community. Samsung's Pro A/V Group has garnered numerous major national distributors for its full suite of large-screen LCD monitors and plasma displays. The Pro A/V Group is part of Samsung's Digital Information Technology Division, headquartered in Irvine, CA.

Spearheading Samsung's expansion into the professional and commercial display marketplace is Alan Brawn, national product marketing manager, Samsung Pro A/V Group and Jeff Handis, national sales manager, Samsung Pro A/V Group. The Pro A/V lineup includes a full breadth of large-screen flat-panel monitors and plasma displays that are designed for digital signage applications in airports and train stations, control facilities, shopping centers, meeting and convention centers, and more.

"Samsung understands that the commercial and pro A/V markets have unique sets of criteria and requirements for display products," said Rey Roque, vice president of marketing for Samsung's Digital Information Technology Division (DITD). "We have harnessed the power of Samsung's global display leadership to create a separate group dedicated to designing and marketing display solutions that meet the needs of this unique market."

Samsung has secured national distribution for its Pro A/V products across the U.S. Representing the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and branching into the eastern Midwest is RCS. Covering the Southeast is Emerald Communications and the distributor in the Midwest is Ocom Sales. Representing Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana is Total Marketing and the distributor for New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Nevada is Kinetic AV. Representing Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington is Focus Marketing.
