- Sony is at Booth 4761 showing two new high definition PTZ robotic cameras, the EVI-HD7V (1080p/60) and EVI-HD3V (720p/60). Alongside its successful EVIHD1, these make for a comprehensive lineup of cameras suited for videoconferencing settings such as boardrooms, courtrooms and distance learning classrooms.
- The EVI-HD7V and EVI-HD3V cameras utilize a 1/3-inch high-quality CMOS image sensor with two million effective pixels and can be used in combination with any number of codecs and systems to produce highresolution images on a low noise Pan Tilt mechanism. These also incorporate a DVI-I output that can also be connected as DVI-D or DVI-A to produce Y/Cb/Cr, Y/Pb/Pr, or RGB formats. The DVI-I output is also HDMIcompatible with a simple DVI-D to HDMI adapter, as well as VGA (component) compatible with a simple DVI-A to VGA adapter.
- Camera settings and pan/tilt/zoom functions can be performed remotely at high communication speeds via the RS-232C interface (VISCA(tm) protocol).
