Screen Events announced its support of SIM Expo taking place at Abu Dhabi’s National Exhibition Centre, United Arab Emirates (UAE), 18-20 October 2009. The Signage, Imaging and Media Exhibition and Conference organised by IIR Middle East will address the fast-developing ME market and will provide a networking hub for experts and innovators across all areas of the indoor and outdoor digital printing and signage sectors.
In its second year, SIM will consist of an exhibition and three one-day forums for manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their products, solutions and services in sectors including digital printing, signage, imaging - capture, storage, processing and output, digital media, outdoor media, new media, advertising and entertainment. SIM differentiates itself from other regional events by focusing on a strong proposition for the industry, targeting quality visitors, delivering new leads and high value business opportunities.
“It’s great to be involved in the promotion of SIM Expo as we recognise the exciting potential and growth opportunities in the UAE region,” said Mark Pigou, Director, Screen Events Ltd. “We are actively assisting IIR ME with international sales and event marketing activities via our databases and global news portal for the screen media industry SCREENS.tv. There are many synergies between our two events and our combined forces will boost SIM Expo promotion to help drive global visitor interest and attendance.”
Screen Media Expo Europe has demonstrated consistent growth year on year and once again lived up to its reputation in April at London Olympia’s National Hall. The event housed 91 exhibitors and attracted a total 3,000 visitors from over 50 different countries. The comprehensive learning programme of co-hosted conferences and workshops featured high quality luminaries spanning the digital signage supply chain. Back for its 5th Anniversary year, the 2010 show will take place on 5-6 May at Earls Court, London, and is projected to attract over 130 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors from over 60 countries.
