Digital Signage Expo (DSE), to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center February 27-28, has expanded its pre-show escorted coach tour. Now a full morning beginning at 9am on Tuesday, February 26, the 4-hour tour will showcase installation sites around the city of Las Vegas so attendees can see how real-world applications have transformed sales environments and observe customers interfacing with new technologies.
Accompanied by brand spokespeople who will be on hand to answer questions and speak to the challenges they faced in concept, design and implementation, tour stops will include Planet Hollywood Hotel, which will highlight applications in a hospitality environment, the Verizon Wireless Store, which will feature dynamic retail and queuing applications, and the Steve Wyrick Theatre as an example of digital signage in public spaces.
In addition, DSE has added a brand new Global Virtual Tour to run 2pm to 5pm that same day, which will feature case-study presentations on installations from around the world. This is the first time attendees will have the ability to get a highly valuable world-view of what’s happening across the entire industry in one sitting.
Chris Gibbs, Executive Vice President of ExpoNation said, “Because the first live case-study tour at DSE in 2007 sold out, and we’ve had subsequent requests for additional industry examples, we’ve not only expanded the live tour that puts attendees in the middle of the action, but we’ll now provide an overview of applications in a broad cross section of industries – in effect, bringing the world to DSE.”
Tour Tickets for both events can be purchased as part of the registration process online at www.digitalsignageexpo.net for $150 per event prior to January 25th and $200 per event thereafter on a space available basis. Seating is limited for both events.
Digital Signage Expo and Interactive Technology Expo will be co-located at the Las Vegas Convention Center for a bigger exposition to run February 27-28, 2008.
