CAYIN Technology for Monarch Skyline Hotel

Monarch Skyline Hotel, located in Taoyuan, replaced traditional bulletin boards and information signs with CAYIN Technology's complete digital signage solutions. To achieve Monarch Skyline Hotel's requirements, CAYIN deployed 16 Signage Media Players and 2 Content Management Servers outside of the ballrooms at B1 and the 3rd floor in areas such as hallways and reception areas.

To align with the various applications of the ballroom, Monarch Skyline Hotel selected a web-based digital signage media player, SMP-WEB+, which allows users to design layouts or multimedia pictures in various formats, including HTML/Flash/JPG, HD (high definition) Video and Streaming Video playback etc. Combining with the display's landscape and portrait presentations, SMP-WEB+ can definitely fulfill demands for different occasions.

For displays set in hallways and reception, Skyline chose the zone-type digital signage media player, SMP-PRO3, which supports real-time video, playback of image slide shows, ticker text, video, clock, and date in a maximum of six zones. SMP-PRO3 provides the most user-friendly platform for Skyline to convey the hotel's image, introduction of hotel facilities, and instant information. Moreover, users can adjust the size and location of each zone by using the handy tool, Skin Editor, with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface.

Web-based user interface: easy management via Internet

Compared to general PC-based software products, CAYIN's digital signage media players with web-based user interface are more advantageous, due to the fact that users can manage players everywhere and any time swiftly via Internet to change settings or update the display's content.

In addition to digital signage media players, Monarch Skyline Hotel also purchased the Content Management Server, CMS-Mini, to efficiently control all players in the hotel. As a result, Skyline can achieve its goal of improving efficiency and lowering personnel costs through central scheduling, streaming broadcasting, and content updating via the servers.
