Koodo Mobile, ADFLOW Connect with Customers, Kiosk

Publish date:

ADFLOW Networks, a provider of web-hosted digital signage and interactive kiosk web applications, has announced that it has provided Koodo Mobile, Canada's newest mobile service provider, with the latest in interactive kiosk technology for their new Koodo Mobile retail mall locations across Canada.

Mike Drennan, director of retail store operations for Koodo Mobile, says the Koodo launch has surpassed their initial expectations. "ADFLOW Networks hit a home run with their product and customer service," said Drennan. "Our customers love the interactive kiosks and our sales representatives are using them as a sales aid. ADFLOW's adaptable interactive kiosk technology provided us with a sound solution that engages and informs our customers through the sale process."

Koodo Mobile's "fat-free alternative" to traditional wireless telecommunication providers, offers a simple, streamlined approach for those looking for an affordable solution to talking and texting with no fixed contracts. Targeting the youth market, Koodo Mobile required a captivating and enticing sales-driven in-store media within their retail locations, which would provide them with a way to connect to their younger demographic. Koodo Mobile saw the opportunity to capitalize on this targeted group by introducing consumer self service interactive touch screens which engage consumers at the point of purchase, informing and educating them on products, services and promotions.

To support this new brand launch, Koodo Mobile commissioned ADFLOW Networks to provide its patented Dynamic Messaging System with interactive touch screens, content triggering system integrated to the security tethers and LED reader board integration, within a newly designed in-mall sales kiosk.

The Koodo Mobile team is very innovative and customer focused and that aligns well with our innovative and customer focused approached to technology solutions," said Wayne Ruttle, vp of sales - national accounts for ADFLOW Networks. "Customers can select a mobile device at the kiosk station and then interact with a touch screen that informs and educates them on the many product features, plans and promotions available to that specific mobile device. Once a purchasing decision has been made, an on-site sales representative will assist in the sales transaction."

Through these new customer-centric information stations, Koodo Mobile now has the ability to enhance the total shopping experience, quickly react to market changes in rate plans and pricing models and provide their customers with the latest mobile products and services in the industry. Interactive content is centrally updated and broadcast remotely from the Koodo marketing team, to all networked kiosks via ADFLOW's patented digital media management web application.
