Sencore’s MP500 MediaPro handheld generator & HDMI analyzer
Sencore (Booth 4141) is releasing the multimedia MP500, or “MediaPro.” It is a battery powered, portable audio/video signal generator and HDMI analyzer that can quickly check the HDMI digital ports on HDMI 1.3 devices such as HDTVs, projectors, repeaters, A/V receivers, players, set-top-boxes, etc. Multi-format and resolution component (YPrPb) and RGB video inputs along with SPDIF and TOS-Link audio inputs can also be tested. The MP500’s portability makes it ideal for lab bench, repair center, and field troubleshooting applications. The color touch screen interface has been designed to optimize workflow through key applications.
The MediaPro offers a rich set of audio and video test signals and HDMI analyzing features. It offers numerous unique static video patterns and a motion Zone Plate pattern for detecting video artifacts during highend video installations. Custom bitmaps can also be imported for use. Audio test patterns are available through the HDMI output on all eight channels at sampling rates up to 192 kHz at 24 bits.
