London’s Newest Arts Venue Selects C-nario’s Digital Signage Platform

C-nario announced that London’s newest arts venue - Kings Place - has selected C-nario’s digital signage platform to display information about upcoming and current events, pricing information, corporate client information, and venue promotional videos. The integrator was DRV Group, one of Europe’s foremost professional designers and integrators of large scale corporate and educational audio visual communications technology.

Kings Place, situated near the center of London a few minutes walk from Kings Cross station, is partly a public and cultural building and partly an office building. It consists of a public ground-floor area, two lower levels devoted to the arts, and seven floors of offices above.

The 14 screens are installed on the ground floor, near the box office and restaurant, and on the basement levels, near the entrances to concert halls. The screens provide information about weekly music events, paintings and sculpture exhibitions at Kings Place galleries in the public spaces inside and outside the building, information about tickets for various performances such as concerts, promotional videos and additional information.

  • The platform that serves Kings Place is C-nario Messenger - a comprehensive distribution, display, and management platform for informational, promotional and commercial messaging in public and corporate facilities. C-nario Messenger also includes layout design, authoring, control, monitoring and reporting features, and provides broadcast quality playback, including full support for true high definition content. C-nario Messenger provides a variety of tools for content creation, several scheduling methods, and a full asset management infrastructure.
  • “Digital signage helps us to inform visitors about the various activities at Kings Place, attracting people to exhibitions and performances, including concerts of the London Sinfonietta and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenments, headquartered at Kings Place,” said Chris Phillips, Group IT Director, Kings Place. “C-nario and DRV Group succeeded to implement the solution in a very short time – five weeks from order.”

“We are proud of being selected by Kings Place for this project,” said Yael Elstein, C-nario’s Vice President Marketing. “This project further establishes C-nario as a global leader in the digital signage arena. We are committed to providing the industry’s most advanced digital signage capabilities.”
