Melchers takes over for Mike Garrido who is now managing the Immersive portfolio 3D and Virtual Reality. Melchers is responsible for strategic marketing, product development, and for ensuring continued innovation and customization of Christie Digital's popular Roadie and Roadster lines.

"Christie Digital's continuos innovations are helping rental stagers offer critical projection solutions, cost savings, and value centered services to their customers," said Melchers. "My attention will be focussed on delivering programs and services tailored for the needs of the high brightness/rental staging community."

Melchers brings ten years of experience in high tech project management, three of those years as a systems engineer at Electronic Data Systems.
