Sharp Enters Short Throw Market With New Projector

Sharp has begun shipping its first short-throw DLP BrilliantColor professional projector, combining the high brightness and convenience of a short-throw design with the high image quality and reliability of BrilliantColor DLP technology. Ideal for interactive presentations, the PG-F267X simplifies projector placement in classrooms and meeting rooms with limited space, achieving a 100-inch diagonal image from a distance of just 4.3 feet. Designed for the conference/classroom market, this projector offers a short-throw design, superior color accuracy and enhanced inputs including a RJ-45 LAN terminal for remote access and diagnosis.

  • The PG-F267X offers a short throw design to permit large screen images to be projected from an exceptionally short throw distance -- a 100-inch diagonal image from the distance of only 4.3 feet from the screen or a 60-inch diagonal image from only 2.7 feet from the screen. This eliminates shadows that can occur on the screen caused by the presenter being in the light path of the projector. It also helps to avoid the projector lamp shining in the eyes of the presenter.
