PSAV Touch Concierge for Hotels

PSAV Presentations Servicesrecently unveiled a dynamic Touch Concierge navigational system at theHospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference(HITEC), running June 22-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., that gives hotel guests access to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, local events and services in the surrounding area. Once the desired information is located, guests can upload the data, along with directions, to their mobile devices.

“Today it’s easy for everyone to be a hotel concierge,” said Denis Lesak, corporate director, Digital Signage Services, PSAV, Long Beach, Calif. “We see many of our hotel partners able to expand the number of hotel employees able to provide knowledgeable assistance about the surrounding area by engaging touch screen concierge services side-by-side with their guests. With Touch Concierge, visitors certainly will get a kick out of having information and directions sent to their cell phone. It’s a nice way to give guests what they are looking for quickly and easily.”

Touch Concierge is being made available to all hotels, regardless if they use PSAV as their preferred event and entertainment technology provider, said the company. The units can either be self-installed or professionally installed by PSAV’s nationwide installation team. Touch screens are available starting at 23 inches to 103 inches or larger, and can be framed with many decorative options to match the décor of virtually any setting, said the company. Touch Concierge is available in recessed, flush, pole supported, free standing or mobile-stand mounting options, according to the company.

“We believe that HITEC attendees will be just as excited about Touch Concierge as we are,” said Digby Davies, CEO, PSAV. “This system is yet another representation of how PSAV is bringing better ideas and better technologies to hotels, associations, event producers and meeting planners around the world.”
