Whose Band Was This?
(Top) Chris Foreman, vice president and COO of Community Professional Loudspeakers, is pictured kneeling in the front row holding a sax, circa 1967. (Bottom) The Chancellors were inducted into the Nebraska Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, where he's pictured playing in the center, left. At its peak, The Chancellors was a nine-piece, brass show band playing Motown music and big bank rock from groups like Blood Sweat and Tears and Chicago. They wore three-piece suits and all their gigs were fully choreographed. Foreman played tenor sax and bass guitar, as well as flute and recorder.
