Tech Managers Can Apply for Digital Media Re-certification Courses

Technology managers who work with Pro Tools and video games can apply for re-certification this month in New York City.

Future Media Concepts (FMC), the authorized digital media training organization for postproduction, broadcast, and content creators, is offering two new courses featuring the Avid/Digidesign Pro ToolsR audio editing system; Pro Tools Operator Re-certification and Pro Tools for Game Audio.

Launching in February at FMC's New York City training facility, the new courses will reflect FMC's training curriculum and will be led by manufacturer certified instructors.

The new two-day Pro Tools Operator Re-certification course is available only to those previously certified in Pro Tools, looking to update their certification. It offers professionals the most cost-effective and timely way to enhance their marketability and remain up-to-date within the industry.

The new three-day Pro Tools for Game Audio course is available to students looking to verse themselves in the rapidly growing video gaming industry. It will expose students to core skills and concepts involved in producing audio for the gaming industry. Interested students must have completed FMC's Pro Tools 101: Introduction to Pro Tools, and Pro Tools 110: Essentials of Pro Tools courses to be eligible. FMC says that these new courses combine practicality with innovation to offer students an in-depth, hands-on educational experience.
