The Simultaneous Interpretation Specialists, announced that Alex Barbour, a Technical Service Representative with I.S.T.S., was recently honoured with the AIIC Canada Annual Award of Excellence on October 25, 2003.
Alex is the first ever conference technician to receive this award, one that is given for consistently demonstrating excellent technical skills and outstanding customer service.
Alex has always exemplified our core values by providing his clients with the highest levels of professionalism as well as service that is, quite simply, second to none, said Thiel.
Its also important to note, added Thiel, that the judges voted unanimously to honour Alex with this award. Hes clearly a leader in the field and one more reason why AVW-TELAV and I.S.T.S. have attained a leadership role in the meetings industry.
Over eighty interpreters, invited customers and equipment suppliers attended the celebration.
