Rental & Staging Systems magazine, together with the InfoComm International, Inc., is now accepting entries for the 2006 Rental & Staging Systems Awards.

The Rental & Staging Systems Awards will reward excellence in the design and production of AV in staged events, and for innovative new products. Rental & Staging Systems magazine will conduct the juried awards program, in cooperation with InfoComm International and its members, concluding with the presentation of awards at InfoComm 2006 being held the week of June 3-9, 2006 in Orlando, FL. Awards will be presented for the best staged events of the year (2005), and for the best new products for the rental and staging market introduced in 2005. The deadline for rental/staging companies to enter the "Staged Events" competition portion of the Rental & Staging Awards, is March 1, 2006.

Winners of awards for the best staged events of the year will be selected by an independent panel of judges including members of the InfoComm International Rental and Staging Council and editorial staff of Rental & Staging Systems magazine. Awards for the best new products for the rental and staging market (nominated by our staff and members of the InfoComm International Rental and Staging Council), will be made on the basis of a special Rental & Staging Systems magazine readers' poll. The 2006 Rental & Staging Systems Awards program will present awards in the following categories:
Best Staged Events (held in 2005):
Best overall staging for a Corporate or Association Event, Large Venue, Large Budget
(Technology budget greater than $200K)
Best overall staging for a Corporate or Association Event, Large Venue (Technology budget
under $200K)
Best overall staging for non-corporate Entertainment event
Most Innovative Use of Technology, Smaller Format or Outdoor Event
Best Use of HD (High Definition) display in a Staged Event or Trade Show Booth
Best Use of AV Technology for a Trade Show Booth for a Corporate Client

Best New Products for the Rental & Staging Market (introduced in 2005):
Best Loudspeaker for the Staging Market
Best Audio Control/Mixing Product
Best Video Projection Product
Best Plasma or LCD Display
Best LED Product
Best Lighting Product (general, combined luminaire and control)
Best Software Product: (Rental, Management, or Design)
Best Video Signal Processing or Distribution Product
Best Video/Broadcast or Video/Streaming Product
Best Projection Screen
Best General AV Product (road cases, wireless, intercom, test equipment, etc.)

Rental & Staging Systems magazine is still accepting entries for the 2005 Rental & Staging Systems Awards. The entry deadline for the staged event portion of the Awards program has been extended, to accommodate international entries and at the request of stagers who are busy with 2005's busy agenda of shows.

Rental & Staging Systems magazine and the International Communications Industries Association, Inc., (ICIA), presented the third annual Rental & Staging Systems Awards at the AV Communications Excellence Awards Banquet June 7, 2005, at InfoComm, the largest tradeshow for the professional audiovisual industry.

The International Communications Industries Association and Rental & Staging Systems magazine are accepting entries for the 2005 Rental & Staging Systems Awards. The entry deadline for the staged event portion of the Awards program is February 7, 2005.

Rental & Staging Systems Awards Presented at InfoComm

The winners of the second annual Rental & Staging Systems Awards were presented at ICIAs smash-hit AV Communications Excellence Awards Banquet, June 8 at InfoComm. The Awards Banquet, a sold-out, high-profile event at InfoComm, enabled more than 500 AV professionals to celebrate the success of leaders and pioneers in the industry. The success of the banquet (held the night prior to the opening of the show floor) was a great kick-off to InfoComm, and a chance for the industry to honor their peers.
