Grand Hyatt Gets Lab.gruppen

OMAN—Audio quality throughout The Grand Hyatt Hotel, Muscat has recently been enhanced and refined with an upgrade to Lab.gruppen’s dedicated installation range of C Series multi-channel power amplifiers, supplied and installed by the Swedish manufacturer’s exclusive distributor in Oman, Bright Lights.
The stunning waterfront hotel is home to several of Oman’s hottest nightspots and entertainment venues including Club Safari, Copacabana, and the Afrah Ballroom.
A 4-channel Lab.gruppen C 68:4 runs the main stage PA at Club Safari, comprising two 2 x 18-inch subs and two 12-inch mid-high cabinets from Ohm, while the stage monitor system is handled by an 8-channel C 20:8X powering six 12-inch Ohm wedges.
Copacabana was the second venue to benefit from the Lab.gruppen upgrade. Like Club Safari, a C 68:4 drives the main system, although this time the mid-high section is comprised of four 12-inch loudspeakers. A further four-channel C 28:4 powers the 2 x 700 W DJ monitor system.
Finally, the Afrah Ballroom has been equipped with two C 68:4 power amplifiers driving a total of 32 Ohm BR6 250 W speakers across four separate zones.
