BICSI Recognizes Vocia Professional Education

  • Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) now awards continuing education credits for Vocia Certified Training from Biamp Systems, a leading international provider of professional networked audio systems.
  • IT Specialists who complete the two-day course are eligible to receive 14 credits from BICSI, the association supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment.
  • "BICSI recognition confirms the quality and relevance of the Vocia Certification Program we offer IT systems professionals in different industries and roles, from installers to systems designers," said Ron Camden, Biamp's VP of North American Sales. "All of our training is designed to help customers and partners get the maximum value from their Biamp network system investment."
  • The Vocia course provides both hands-on training and classroom learning on the design and implementation of Vocia networked paging and voice evacuation systems. Completion of the course now contributes to the following BICSI certifications:
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
  • Installer2 Copper/Fiber
  • Technician
  • Certified Trainer
  • Biamp began offering Vocia certification training in October 2009. IT system professionals can take the course at the North American Learning Center of Biamp's Beaverton, Oregon headquarters, and globally in Amsterdam, Mumbai and Bangkok.
