  • Educating the market on the benefit of non-PC based solutions will be a key focus for SpinetiX at InfoComm Asia. Francesco Ziliani, Chief Operations Officer at SpinetiX will present a look at Open Standards in Digital Signage: SMIL vs SVG as part of the Industry Conferences: Market Trends and Applications initiative during the show. Ziliani proposes that SMIL appears limited to provide the flexibility required for today’s applications. Its natural extension, the Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) platform standard, is progressively introduced to maximize the technology convergence and reusability.
