Rothman Center Upgrades With Community Loudspeakers

Hackensack, NJ - With about a 4-day window to install a new sound system for the 6,000-seat Rothman Center at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Boulevard Production Specialists of Oradell, NJ turned to Victor's House of Music in Paramus for assistance. The solution: four iBOX IHP-1594 loudspeakers from Community.

Time was so tight that Boulevard's James Cioffi picked up the product at Community's headquarters in Chester, PA. Additionally, installers needed to locate and use a special lift to install the iBOX product, one with a 90-foot extension that would not harm the center's newly installed NBA-rated flooring, of which there are but a few in the country.

Cioffi and John Orth, a Boulevard systems designer, have years of experience specing and installing Community's R-Series loudspeakers, but this was their first use of the iBOX line. "The iBOX loudspeakers performed very well," said Cioffi. "Community and [Victor's] Rich Hochuli went way above and beyond so we could get the product 10 hours after the order was placed."
