ATLANTA, GA--Waveguide Consulting, an independent consulting firm in audiovisual, acoustical, structured cabling and control systems design, is pleased to announce the opening of its Florida office and the appointment of Scott McLain, CTS-D, to director of Florida operations. Headquartered in neighboring Georgia, Waveguide has provided technology consulting services for major universities, corporate headquarters and military facilities across Florida.
"As part of our ongoing expansion, we are opening our Florida office to better serve the needs of our growing list of clients there," said Scott Walker, CTS-D, LEED AP, president and CEO of Waveguide Consulting. "Florida has a diverse and growing population with major architecture and end-user clients. Our central Florida office will give our clients there greater access to our services."

McLain is also a judicial technology expert; he has provided consulting and design services for judicial facilities, served on several commissions, and authored white papers and technology guidelines for the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
"Scott's extensive experience and familiarity with Florida's unique markets make him the perfect candidate to lead our new office," said Walker. "We look forward to building lasting relationships with our Florida clients with Scott at the helm."
