Cayin Signage Links Expo Sites
  • TAIWAN—Cayin Technology’s fullscale digital signage system was used at Computex Taipei 2008 in June to link exhibition information between three major exhibition sites.
  • Computex Taipei is the second largest information technology exhibition worldwide,

Digital signage was used to bridge an information gap between expo halls that were 20 minutes apart. after CeBIT in Germany. In addition to the original exhibition halls of the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), the event has expanded its operation to the new TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, one of the largest exhibition venues in Asia. The two halls are located about 20 minutes’ journey apart, but the exhibition organizer wanted to ensure information was broadcast instantly to all visitors and exhibitors in both halls.

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council offered the digital signage sponsorship to Cayin Technology and deployed a system of 15 digital signs at the main entrances and selected areas, including press centers and VIP lounges, in the main exhibition halls of the TWTC and the new Nangang Exhibition Hall.
