Vertigo Digital Displays Acquires Vertigo Group

Vertigo Digital Displays announced October 27th the acquisition of Vertigo Group digital division assets and the establishment of the new company dedicated to the design and development of digital display solutions for outdoor applications. The company has been funded through a partnership between founding partners of TargetPath LLC, Brad Gleeson and Scott Hix, and Chilin Technology, the OEM backlighting, plastics and display systems company within the Chi Mei group of Tainan, Taiwan.

The new company will focus on the continued development of advanced, engineered outdoor LCD display solutions first developed by Vertigo Group for customers such as Titan Outdoor's Chicago Transit Authority project, Lamar?s Vancouver Skytrain platforms, and Astral Media's “Info-to-go” digital wayfinding pillars. Managing the new company will be Vertigo Group?s original founders, Ralph Idems (COO) and Chris Bolton (CTO), along with digital signage industry veteran Brad Gleeson, who will serve as the new company?s President and CEO.
