Electrograph, Hitachi to Offer High-Margin Projectors

Hauppauge, NY -- Electrograph Systems has expanded its relationship with Hitachi Home Electronics (America) Inc. Business Group to provide resellers with a high-margin line of Hitachi Professional Series projectors.

“High margins are critical, especially when there are fewer installs out there,” explained Sam Taylor, president of Electrograph Systems. “These projectors are available through limited distribution and require authorization to sell. Hitachi and Electrograph are allowing resellers to hold their margins and make a profit--without the concern of internet or other retail sales competition.”

Taylor noted that adding the integration projectors to Hitachi’s StarBoard line enables Electrograph to be the go-to distributor for a wide range of Hitachi technology products, especially those for the education market. “Without a doubt, Hitachi’s StarBoard line is enabling educators to take their teaching methods to a whole new creative level with easy-to-operate pen-driven displays, popular interactive wired and wireless white boards, and even portable freedom tablets,” he said.

“With the introduction of the Professional Series, Hitachi is broadening its reach to larger venues and more applications than ever before,” said Ray Soltys, director of sales, Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc., Business Group. “Electrograph is the ideal distributor to deliver this line of projectors to these markets.”

Hitachi’s Professional Series 3LCD projectors available from Electrograph include the CP-WX11000, which has WXGA resolution for compatibility with today’s widescreen laptops and HD content. Its 6500 lumens provide clear images in any large conference room, lecture hall or auditorium. The CP-X10000 projector offers 7,500 lumens of brightness and XGA resolution, while the CP-SX12000 projector offers up to 7000 lumens of brightness and SXGA+ resolution for viewing of 1.9 times more content on larger documents and spread sheets. These projectors are ideal for large venue, command and control, engineering and CAD/CAM applications where acute resolution of small details is necessary. All three projectors have six changeable bayonet style lens options for short- and long-throw applications, and include projector management (PJMan) so users can monitor and control multiple units over a LAN.
